Keyes adds his "standing" to Obama citizenship challenge

A 'Constitutional crisis' is looming over Barack Hussein Obama's unwillingness to prove his birth location and thus his US "natural born" citizenship.

That is the warning of Alan Keyes, a political activist and media commentator widely regarded as a beacon of moral clarity, whose lawsuit in California warns that America may have a 'usurper' in Oval Office unless something is done to stop him.

A California court petition filed on behalf of former presidential candidate Alan Keyes and others, including California electors, calls on the California secretary of state to prevent the state's 55 Electoral College votes from being cast in the 2008 presidential election until President-elect Barack Obama verifies his eligibility to hold the office.

The legal action today is just the latest is a series of challenges which challenge Obama's status as a "natural-born citizen," a requirement set by the U.S. Constitution for the President. The suit of Philadelphia attorney Philip Berg was rejected prior to the election by a Federal Circuit Court judge on the grounds that Berg lacked "standing" to bring the suit because he was just an ordinary citizen. He is appealing the case to the Supreme Court of the United States, and Associate Justice Souter has schedule the date of December 3 for filings on the matter. However, because Keyes ran for President on a third-party ticket this year and another plaintiff is an actually elector, it appears that the "standing" issue will not apply here. Clearly these men do have a personal standing in the case and potential injury.

The biggest question -- asked by virtually all who address this issue -- is why Obama, if as he claims a Hawaii birth certificate exists, simply hasn't ordered it to be made available to settle the issue and dispel the rumors or, as his campaign called them, the "smears." While Hawaiian health officials do say that there is a birth record on file, they did not comment on the contents of the record, which leaves open the questions of where he was really born. "Hawaii Revised Statute 338-178 allows registration of birth in Hawaii for a child that was born outside of Hawaii to parents who, for a year preceding the childʼs birth, claimed Hawaii as their place of residence," the document said. "The only way to know where Senator Obama was actually born is to view Senator Obama's original birth certificate from 1961 that shows the name of the hospital and the name and signature of the doctor that delivered him."

The stakes, the suit claims, are enormous. "Should Senator Obama be discovered, after he takes office, to be ineligible for the Office of President of the United States of America and, thereby, his election declared void, Petitioners, as well as other Americans, will suffer irreparable harm in that (a) usurper will be sitting as the President of the United States, and none of the treaties, laws, or executive orders signed by him will be valid or legal," the action challenges.

The petition is a request for the Superior Court of California in Sacramento County to issue a peremptory writ barring Secretary of State Debra Bowen "from both certifying to the governor the names of the California Electors, and from transmitting to each presidential Elector a Certificate of Election, until such documentary proof is produced and verified showing that Senator Obama is a 'natural born' citizen of the United States and does not hold citizenship of Indonesia, Kenya or Great Britain." It requests a writ barring California's electors from signing the Certificate of Vote until documentary proof is produced.

Citing the constitutional requirement that a president be a "natural born" citizen, the case discusses other state and federal court cases regarding "aspects of lost or dual citizenship concerning Senator Obama. Those challenges, in and of themselves, demonstrate Petitioners' argument that reasonable doubt exists as to the eligibility of the Democratic Party’s nominee for President," the case said.

" Tony Wells' article is a very interesting read! This CANNOT be construed as the ramblings of "some right wing conspiracy nut"! Again, I am forced to ponder, WHY hasn't Obama displayed his documents and scuttled this undercurrent, especially since the US Supreme Court is holding a "conference" on the matter on December 5. I am compelled to consider a combination of the two primary theories that are in seeming conflict, as perhaps simply "both being true, and validating each other!"
1) He was born of Ann Dunham and Obama Sr in Kenya and the President elect is covering up his consequent illegal status re:eligibility.
2) He is the illigimate son of Malcolm X.
I deduct from these a synthesis. He was born the son of Macolm X and Mrs(Ms) "Unamed to date", legally and is a US Citizen. Fearing for his life his was surrepetitiosly scurried out of the country (Moses in the basket?, will probably become the theme), given secretly to Dunham to raise with help (which would explain the picture of Dunham on the beach in a bikini at the time of 3rd trimester of the purported pregnancy). The registration of birth in Hawaii therefor, is not actually going to reveal an "illegal citizenship", but instead an elaborate contrivance, gone bad in the details...after all...who would believe the son of Macolm X could be President?
So the plot thickens of course. If true, when did Obama find out? Will he claim he is only finding out since the "search of records he asumed were accurate, about a life story he believed was accurate, all left him believing he was actually a Sotero/Obama baby? But, since I have been elected, and I am actually legal,
I'll just learn to live with newly rendered self image-which is strictly a personal matter, and America will just have to understand...Fantastic, but maybe closer to the truth than we dare to imagine...sure makes good movie script...Everyone should have fun with this one...or should they? The above posted abstract is meaningless. First, several professionals have stated that it is false. Second, it is an abstract. You can't get a U.S. passport with an abstract. The abstract fails to prove the supporting evidence regarding timely registration, name of hospital, name of doctor or nurse, etc. Third, if his dad is Barack Sr. and he was born in the U.S. he is a U.S. citizen but not a natural born as defined in the constitution.

On other Certificates of Live Birth for persons of race that have been posted on the internet, from the same period of time, their race has been listed. Blacks were listed from that period of time as "negro", not African.
A point that most Obamamaniacs are missing.

On the COLB copy that was posted on this thread, you can just vaguely make out in the lower left, toward the middle of the lower portion of the document, the year stamped on the back,,,,,2007.
Again, why post a COLB, and not his REAL birth certificate which Obama mentions that he is in possession of.
Why would Obama have his website, FightTheSmears, state that this is Obama's real "birth certificate", when it was only a suspect Certificate of Live Birth, and try to convince people to go out and convince others that it is all a vast right wing conspiracy to discredit him?
Many more questions go unanswered.

And, contrary to popular belief, the F.B.I. does not run background checks on Congressional (Senate) or Presidential candidates. I hope that changes.

Obama was born to Anne Dunham when she was 18.
According to U.S. law, in the case of a child born of a foreign citizen and a U.S. citizen,
the U.S. citizen would have to have fulfilled five years in the U.S. past the age of 16.

As a citizen of the UKC who was born in Kenya, Obama's father automatically received Kenyan citizenship via subsection (1). So given that Obama qualified for citizen of the UKC status at birth and given that Obama's father became a Kenyan citizen via subsection (1), it follows that Obama did in fact have Kenyan citizenship after 1963. So The Rocky Mountain News was at least partially correct.

But the paper failed to note that the Kenyan Constitution prohibits dual citizenship for adults. Kenya recognizes dual citizenship for children, but Kenya's Constitution specifies that at age 21, Kenyan citizens who possesses citizenship in more than one country automatically lose their Kenyan citizenship unless they formally renounce any non-Kenyan citizenship and swear an oath of allegiance to Kenya.

A key point is that Certificate of Live Birth, when compared with other Certificates of Live Birth that are posted on the internet from that same time period, under "race" it lists the person's race, not "nationality" as on this document.
There are other glaring discrepancies.
