Keyes adds his "standing" to Obama citizenship challenge

A 'Constitutional crisis' is looming over Barack Hussein Obama's unwillingness to prove his birth location and thus his US "natural born" citizenship.

That is the warning of Alan Keyes, a political activist and media commentator widely regarded as a beacon of moral clarity, whose lawsuit in California warns that America may have a 'usurper' in Oval Office unless something is done to stop him.

A California court petition filed on behalf of former presidential candidate Alan Keyes and others, including California electors, calls on the California secretary of state to prevent the state's 55 Electoral College votes from being cast in the 2008 presidential election until President-elect Barack Obama verifies his eligibility to hold the office.

The legal action today is just the latest is a series of challenges which challenge Obama's status as a "natural-born citizen," a requirement set by the U.S. Constitution for the President. The suit of Philadelphia attorney Philip Berg was rejected prior to the election by a Federal Circuit Court judge on the grounds that Berg lacked "standing" to bring the suit because he was just an ordinary citizen. He is appealing the case to the Supreme Court of the United States, and Associate Justice Souter has schedule the date of December 3 for filings on the matter. However, because Keyes ran for President on a third-party ticket this year and another plaintiff is an actually elector, it appears that the "standing" issue will not apply here. Clearly these men do have a personal standing in the case and potential injury.

The biggest question -- asked by virtually all who address this issue -- is why Obama, if as he claims a Hawaii birth certificate exists, simply hasn't ordered it to be made available to settle the issue and dispel the rumors or, as his campaign called them, the "smears." While Hawaiian health officials do say that there is a birth record on file, they did not comment on the contents of the record, which leaves open the questions of where he was really born. "Hawaii Revised Statute 338-178 allows registration of birth in Hawaii for a child that was born outside of Hawaii to parents who, for a year preceding the childʼs birth, claimed Hawaii as their place of residence," the document said. "The only way to know where Senator Obama was actually born is to view Senator Obama's original birth certificate from 1961 that shows the name of the hospital and the name and signature of the doctor that delivered him."

The stakes, the suit claims, are enormous. "Should Senator Obama be discovered, after he takes office, to be ineligible for the Office of President of the United States of America and, thereby, his election declared void, Petitioners, as well as other Americans, will suffer irreparable harm in that (a) usurper will be sitting as the President of the United States, and none of the treaties, laws, or executive orders signed by him will be valid or legal," the action challenges.

The petition is a request for the Superior Court of California in Sacramento County to issue a peremptory writ barring Secretary of State Debra Bowen "from both certifying to the governor the names of the California Electors, and from transmitting to each presidential Elector a Certificate of Election, until such documentary proof is produced and verified showing that Senator Obama is a 'natural born' citizen of the United States and does not hold citizenship of Indonesia, Kenya or Great Britain." It requests a writ barring California's electors from signing the Certificate of Vote until documentary proof is produced.

Citing the constitutional requirement that a president be a "natural born" citizen, the case discusses other state and federal court cases regarding "aspects of lost or dual citizenship concerning Senator Obama. Those challenges, in and of themselves, demonstrate Petitioners' argument that reasonable doubt exists as to the eligibility of the Democratic Party’s nominee for President," the case said.

Due to the known efforts of ACORN and Project Vote over the years, what seems at the heart of the Left's claim of election theft is that they truly believed they HAD already stolen the election only to have Bush win. That little thing called the Electoral College was key despite the popular vote. But I see you're still most angry over Bush's victory x2.

Another little wrinkle in the system is the Law. No matter how "transformational" Obama is, he isn't qualified based on his citizenship status. The reason why Obama hasn't disclosed his college transcripts either is coz it would speak the truth about his status. In any event, Obama is no more a natural born American citizen than Gov Shwartzenegger, who at least acknowledges the Law and it's limitations on those in this category. This is the Law you need to avoid absorbing in order to continue to consider this application of said Law as "pathetic crap."

Rest assured, should Obama manage to obfuscate and bamboozle in order to be sworn in (on Jefferson's Koran, as a show of good faith to the !slamic world that America is not the enemy of their desired Global Caliphate), some will be happy no investigation of ACORN will ever take place.

The issue is not just where he was born, but who he really is, was he adopted by his step-father (the U.S. did not recognize duel citizenship with Indonesia at that time), did he ever become a U.S. citizen again, or is he not a U.S. citizen at all.
This country is litterally up for grabs if these issues are not settled.

A key point is that Certificate of Live Birth, when compared with other Certificates of Live Birth that are posted on the internet from that same time period, under "race" it lists the person's race, not "nationality" as on this document.
There are other glaring discrepancies.

According to U.S. law, in the case of a child born of a foreign citizen and a U.S. citizen,
the U.S. citizen would have to have fulfilled five years in the U.S. past the age of 16.

As a citizen of the UKC who was born in Kenya, Obama's father automatically received Kenyan citizenship via subsection (1). So given that Obama qualified for citizen of the UKC status at birth and given that Obama's father became a Kenyan citizen via subsection (1), it follows that Obama did in fact have Kenyan citizenship after 1963. So The Rocky Mountain News was at least partially correct.

But the paper failed to note that the Kenyan Constitution prohibits dual citizenship for adults. Kenya recognizes dual citizenship for children, but Kenya's Constitution specifies that at age 21, Kenyan citizens who possesses citizenship in more than one country automatically lose their Kenyan citizenship unless they formally renounce any non-Kenyan citizenship and swear an oath of allegiance to Kenya.

Since Sen. Obama has neither renounced his U.S. citizenship nor sworn an oath of allegiance to Kenya, his Kenyan citizenship automatically expired on Aug. 4,1982."
