...
The following is a copy of my last post of substance.

COME TOGETHER OR PERISH ALONE
We must set aside our petty differences and move forward against our common enemies with solidarity...
"We all have an interest, for example, in preventing terrorism, in combating violent extremism, in deterring potential aggressors, in halting the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and related technology, in reducing the trade in illegal narcotics, in countering piracy, and in ensuring the free flow of commerce and the security of strategic infrastructure."

All of us must grasp hold of the gravity of our times. While our house is burning, we argue with the gardener over the way the lawn was cut. Sometimes I think it is easier to bicker about how this religious group is diluting that religious group's whatever than to look reality in the face. Brothers, our freedom and safety are in danger of flying away on moth's wings. Violent Islamic extremists are closing their ranks. They are garnering support in the West, and coalescing their power in the Middle East and Europe. They are winning. They are winning because we refuse to pocket our religious ideologies for one minute and build abiding relationships with each other based on respect and self-preservation. There will be no place for us to bicker if we fail to recognise this.
"... the objective is to strengthen relationships and increase defensive and deterrent capabilities in pursuit of common interests, thereby enhancing security in the region..."
--GEN David Petraeus, CENTCOM Cmdr.
Pause and ask yourself, What is my objective? Stop wasting effort, Christians and Jews, "lining each other out" on religious beliefs. Let God sort it out. If we would quit this destructive pattern, and repent - yes, repent - of our divisiveness toward one another for one lousy minute, I believe God will bless us and strike our enemies down without our even lifting a finger. Enough of this religious talk.
"The lack of sustainable economic development in certain parts of this region, for example, is not just a social or humanitarian issue it is a serious security concern as well. Without economic opportunity, poor and disenfranchised communities can serve as hotbeds for the spread of violent extremism, eventually even becoming failed states."
--GEN David Petraeus, CENTCOM Cmdr.
Sound like someplace you know? Help the Palestinians to build their economy. Take the moral high ground. Separate the reconcilables from the irreconcilables. Build up the former. Take out the latter. I personally think many of our enemies are lost causes, that they will never reconcile, but we must go above and beyond the norms of regular compassion in order to build up the few who will live alongside us in peace.
"Concerted persistent efforts will be required ... but they are worth the effort as they will not only enhance our collective defensive capability, they will also serve as a very important manifestation of our collective will and our collective deterrent posture."
--GEN David Petraeus, CENTCOM Cmdr.
What does your collective will manifest?

What do you think of the current political impasse? I don't think Bibi can organize a govt. He needs Shas and Lieberman and I don't think they can be in the same coalition. Any thoughts?
This site is a perfect representation of Israeli politics.
You struck the nail on the head: So goes Israel, so goes the planet.
Where to start:
First, "ABN" stands for "Airborne" .I'm sure you knew this but I wasn't sure you were connecting it with Israel, Zionism or ironwork.
As far as IDF & war crimes, this was sent to me recently:

but I'll spare relating to you things you'll see or come to believe as long as you keep that open mind.
I spent some time in a Palestinian refugee camp in 1973. The photos and experiences they related to me over the weeks seemed just as compelling as memories of Holocaust survivors.
Zionism and/or the actions of its adherents engender more anti Jewish sentiment than anything. Am I mistaken or did you cite "super Zionist" as an affinity?
Concerning something entirely different, I've been blacksmithing for about 20 years; everything from Civil War cannon parts, gates, sculpture, reproduction Elizabethan fireplace and medical artifacts, bell towers (12' etc) bathroom fixtures, life sized skeletons, harpoon heads, archeological and geological research tools etc etc.
Again, many thanks & take care

Many thanks, again. Your open minded and rational view is tremendously uplifting concerning an issue so volatile.
A day without puerile insults at these forums rarely passes; if they were only creative......like "Blowing bubbles from the shallow end of the Think Tank" or something.
I've found that open mindedness or the willingness to see things as they really are (harder than it sounds) is indispensable in surviving adverse situations and just generally sorting things out.
I'm curious as to what attracts one to Zionism. I'm aware of it's philosophical, Utopian/Idealist facet but instances of its successful, practical application seems difficult to reconcile with realistic durability .
Take care and thanks for the kind words...
Thanks for your bit of support. I often get called an anti-semite because I question the established theory of of what is politically correct. But when one's philosophy will lead to self-annihilation or extinction if not reconsidered then it is prudent to begin to question what you are doing. Israel is one American president away from isolation. Not a very good foundation.
