Alex,
I've been verrry busy. Little time to even look at II. But it's been good; our business took a real nosedive last year and we had to incur a large debt to stay afloat. Yet G-d has been very kind to us and we're having our best year to date.., but it takes a lot of work! My wife and I have a Home Repair business. What kind of work do you do?
Well, the US election is over. Did the people of Bolivia flow into the streets and celebrate Obama as they did here? Check out the ominous video I posted at the bottom of the page. It's very unsettling. The things you said in your last post comparing Obama to Morales are a little unsettling as well. The only silver lining I can imagine coming from the Obama victory is that it may get the US christians praying again as we ought. Tell me, how long has Bolivia been under socialism? Has it had a humbling effect on the church or has it moved the church toward apathy?
Here in America, liberalism has taken root in the evangelical church and I'm sure it will only be strenghtened under Obama. It's dividing the church becasue so many young "Christians" adore Obama and are blinded to even the horror of abortion. The hatered of Sarah Palin and the worship of Obama has revealed a very ugly spirit in the midst of the churches. It's shameful and frightening.
But I refuse to leave my Bolivian brother with depressing news. Starting a week from tomorrow I will be teaching in our church about the Rapture and the second coming of Christ and His kingdom! It will be an 8-10 week study. I'm verrry excited about it. We believer's just have to get our eyes fixed on the things of heaven and not the things of this world which is passing away. Christ is working in his church and He will have His way and Israel will know their G-d!
I hope you don't find the video too discouraging, but it's a small window of the reality that may be right around the corner. I don't agree with the symbolism the author posts at the beginning, but the reality of what took place in the video speaks for itself.
Shalom my friend!

Then I will call you "Alex"!
Yes, Viva Israel! So many fellow believers in the US are ignorant of Israel; her history, her purpose and her future that I am sometimes dismayed. But on-line I can even talk to a Bolivian about God's chosen!
So what's it like living in Bolivia under the rule of Morales? He looks pretty chummy with Ahmadinejad. How's the church in Bolivia? Is it alive and vibrant? Americans are getting set to elect a new president and the Republican Convention is going on in our city. McCain has picked the governor of Alaska to be his running mate as vice president: A 44 year old mother of 5 who happens to be an amazingly strong believer in Jesus! Things are getting interesting.
Shalom Alex.., always cling to the Vine!
