Where is Gilad?
Voice of Palestine radio quoted Egyptian sources on Saturday as saying that in an unusual move, security around the Rafah border crossing between Gaza and Egypt has been beefed up, speculating that the added security could signal the imminent transfer of captive Israel Defense Forces soldier Gilad Shalit from Gaza into Egypt.

This event is organizad for the second time. It consists of a series of prayers and traditional chants in Hebrew as a sign of love for the people of Israel. Last year, 200-250 people attended it.

Zarthustra said… - I agree with your comment about Palestinians continuing to dream about a one state solution. Any agreement must respect Israel's integrity and provide for Israel's security. It's too bad the parties can't restart negotiations in good faith - there is so much bad blood. My hope is that people smarter than I will figure out a way to move forward because Israel is such a beautiful country with so much to offer.
