Feelings About Israel

It's a lousy place to get anything done, and ther bureaucracy is stifling, since they become "personal" if they don't like you, or you run afoul of them in any way. Many-at least SOME- are crooked. I lived in Israel for 124 years and was eventuually driven out with my Israeli born family of 4 children., by a crooked city mayor and a few henchmen, including the local police chief, who, when I went to make a legitimate complaint, and I mean legitimate, took MY fingerprints, insisting that if I didn't give them he'd lock MZE up in a plate-steel door cell under the stiars, where there already was an Arab, in pitch darkness. I could see the Arab's red cigarette end (I don't smoke). I was already 50 years old, my wife and 2 baby children were with me. ....What motre can I say.....??? PLENTY, but, what's the point?? My wife and I moved to Israel to get married there, inspired by Menachem Begin.

What's special about me is thast I've never had a credit card, never owed money, never bought anything I couldn't pay for. I think these are extra special, in these days anyway. When I was a kid, and where I was brought up, it was not unusual. But that was in Europe, far from here.

Have no idea, dust makes me sneeze so perhaps it's my nose.........

Read, Read, Read,. play table=tennis, walk, perhaps tennis, if my bones don't creak too much, and MOST OF ALL I must not try to emulate my sporting prowess of youth.
