Deputy Foreign Minister Dani Ayalon's wife Anne is a "born-again believer" who is openly proselytizing on evangelical television and in official banquets.

In this video she appears on Daystar, a missionary network with “a singular goal—to reach souls with the good news of Jesus Christ”. Mrs. Ayalon considers it good news that, "Eighty percent of Jesus' ministry is up in the Galilee. You walk there and you just feel God's love!"
Anne uses her position as the wife of a Jewish Israeli leader to “share her testimony about Jesus, “witnessing" on the banquet circuit. According to the Charles Carrin Ministries:

"While I was surprised by the Ambassador and his wife’s youthfulness, I was more astounded that Anne Ayalon used the Banquet-occasion to share her testimony about Jesus. She is a born-again believer. Speaking before high-ranking Jewish delegates, Washington’s media-reporters, and other international figures, she told of her love for Jesus and even gave a capable explanation of God’s Trinitarian nature. I sat there astonished. Never have I witnessed more graciousness, more spiritual beauty, or more gentleness than she displayed. No one could have criticized her loveliness. The incoming Ambassador’s wife, Noa Meridor, listened attentively as she spoke. More so, I was overwhelmed, wondering about the effects of such a woman becoming Israel’s First Lady. Pray for this couple!"

Pray indeed.

I noticed this excerpt is done in such a way to portray a different message. There are a couple of key sentences that were left out. I wonder why, because it didn't agree with a xtian viewpoint. I think it's disingenous to edit an article to give a different impression than that of the original. If this is going on how much can we trust II.

First, I was speaking of the text that was left out. That should have been obvious. When I first looked at this I wasn't aware there was a video on the page. In any event what does Ephraim have to do with this, unless you, aslo, believe in the replacement theology of xtianity, namely the Ephraimites. Also, all of xtianity preaches replacement theology, only in different modes. The descendants of Ephraim are unknown this day. They Won't be known until Mashiach reveals who is a Jew and who they are Descended From. This is speaking of the envy of the past, namely during the two kingdoms and that in the days of Mashiach there won't be this envy anymore. I guess we all must realize, according to xtians, that the Jews are "blinded" to this truth, which so many want to profess constantly. Of course, from that viewpoint, that means that G-d "blinded" the Jews since the beginning of the Common Era, and in so doing condemned all those Jews who did't accept jc. Evidently those Jews don't even have a chance. They are blinded so they "can't see" the truth and also condemned for Not "believing" the turth. This insinuates that G-d is a vengeful, spiteful G-d. Certainly Not the G-d of Avraham, Yitzchak, and Yaakov.
In truth, we Know who has the Truth. As written in Tehillim 147:19,20 "He relates His words to Jacob, His statutes and His judgments to Israel. He did not do so for any other nation; such judgments they know them not"

Since we are copying and pasting whole posts here (Yoel), this is from the Jewish Post and the link above. Even Ariel Sharon advised Dany, "Reach out to the Christians. They are our friends." He got it. Some here don't.

American Christians: The Righteous Gentiles of Today?
By Miriam Tenenbom

In an enthusiastic evening at the Capitol Hilton in Washington DC, Christian and Jewish leaders were honoring the outgoing Israeli Ambassador Daniel Ayalon and his wife, Anne, at a Gala dinner.

At the opening, words from President George W. Bush were read, congratulating the Ambassador for the many years of service and for his dedication to enhance friendship between the peoples of Israel and the United States. Believing that the two peoples are rooted in the same values, the President emphasized America’s commitment to Israel’s well-being as a Jewish State as well as his vision of Israel and Palestine living side by side in peace and security.

Video messages from Vice PM Shimon Peres, Foreign Minister Zipi Livni, Former PM Benjamin Netanyahu and Former PM Ehud Bark were projected on a huge screen.

Participating in this event were many people of prominence from the political and religious arenas. From Congress: House Majority Leader, Steny Hoyer; House Minority Whip, Roy Blunt and Congressman Tom Lantos.

Among the religious leaders were: Rabbi Levi Shemtov, Malcolm Hoenlein of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, Gary Bauer, Pastor Paula White and others.

The beautiful ballroom was packed with about four hundred VIPs. ABC’s news reporter, Sam Donaldson, served as the Master of Ceremony and led the event in his charming way throughout the evening. Everybody in attendance was of the same mind: We are committed to show unconditional support to “the Jews.” When I asked my prominent table-neighbor Peter Rosenblatt, ex-Ambassador and Vice-president of the American Jewish Committee, what he thought about this nearly unrealistic outburst of Christian friendship and sympathy, he assured me that it was truly genuine with no strings attached.

Gary Bauer, who served as Under Secretary of Education and as President Reagan’s Chief Domestic Policy Advisor said in his speech to the outgoing Ambassador: ”Tell the Israeli people that even if the UN lets you down, we in the US will stand with Israel.” But when asked in private later on to explain this love and support, he said: “Israel is the apple of God’s eye. It just puzzles me why so many people hate the Jews and their motives behind it. I’m weary of explaining my belief.”

Dudu Fisher, who gave a moving performance when he sang Kol Nidre and “Bring me home” from Les Miserables, said that he had no doubt that the American Christians were “the righteous gentiles” of our generation. “My family was saved by a Polish Christian family.” Congressman Roy Blunt vowed that Congress would always support Israel.

There was no room left for difficult questions like: Is there any hidden agenda behind the Christian support? Is there a selfish reason behind the giving to Israel? Or, since there is a new-found love between Jews and Christians, would the Jews reciprocate the support to the Christians?
All I heard was: “This is genuinely done by the organizers…,” “These Christians believe strongly in Israel,” and “This relationship is utterly sincere.”

But the highlight of the evening was Mrs. Anne Ayalon, who was brought up in a deeply evangelical family in the US. She met her husband, Dany, during a trip to Israel many years ago, which changed her life. Before marrying, Dany had his first diplomatic course during endless nights of theological discussions with Anne’s father about religion and whether Jesus was the Son of God. She said: ”My Christian family always showed Dany faith and love for Israel. It is one thing to say you love Israel, but it’s another to welcome a Jew into your family. Dany was always welcome. But they also received a big lesson of what it means to be a Jew, what it means to have a Jewish heart. They realized that as much as they wanted to share their faith, they also had to learn from the wisdom of Judaism and the rabbis.”

PM Sharon gave Dany two tips before coming with him to the US. Number one: When you are invited for dinners, never forget to take your wife along. Second advice: Reach out to the Christians, they are our friends. He followed both.

One thing I would like to point out is that Christians are not the 'righteous gentiles' the B'nai Noah are, the Noahides who keep the 7 Laws of the Noahide Covenant. And learn with rabbis. We do not worship any false gods at all and we certainly do not pray to any intermediary between us and HaShem.

Frances, as much as Christianity is most likely considered a violation of the prohibition of Avodah Zara (the 2nd of the 10 Commandments and 1 of the 7 Noahide Laws), I frankly don't know how Hashem takes into consideration that they have been doing so blindly for 2000, in addition to taking into account that I have no idea how to measure in judgement such a person who has done so many good deeds to their fellow man over a life-time. No group of people have a monopoly over kindness and achievement of good.

I highlighted my words "most likely" above because there are Halachic authorities who have said that certain forms of intermediary worship ("Shi'toof), while forbidden to Jews, may be allowable in some cases to non-Jews.

Yom tov - have a good day! ;)

Wife of Israel’s Deputy Foreign Minister is a “Born Again Believer”

Posted by Ellen Horowitz for Jewish Israel

She may be "born again", but this “Judeo-Christian union” could be the death of us all (G-d forbid)…

Evangelical Christian Anne Ayalon, the wife of Israel’s Deputy Foreign Minister Daniel Ayalon, can be seen and heard on Daystar Television kvelling (sic!) about Jesus’s ministry in Israel (see 8 minutes into the video).

Daystar is a premier missionary network with “a singular goal—to reach souls with the good news of Jesus Christ”, and I guess Mrs. Ayalon considers it good news that, "Eighty percent of Jesus' ministry is up in the Galilee. You walk there and you just feel god's love!"

It’s reportedly not the first time that Anne has used her position as the wife of a Jewish Israeli leader to “share her testimony about Jesus “ . As the wife of the former Ambassador of Israel to the United States, it appears Mrs. Ayalon witnessed on the banquet circuit…

Here’s a choice excerpt from Charles Carrin Ministries:

Israel better pray long and hard that its Jewish leaders come back to themselves and to their people.

I am a Christian, but I am wary not only of programs like this, but also of the genuineness of Anne's faith, most evangelical Christians would frown on a marriage with a non Christian whatever their background as disobedience- though the warm sentiments for Israel in the video are commendable.

This is Ann Ayalon who is Ambassador for Jesus tells others to bow to her. Great Ambassador for Jesus

Ann Ayalon had verbally abused household staff at her official residence in Washington. Yediot reported that she had called staff members, who are Israeli government employees, "stupid" and "retarded" and forced one to bow before her because her work was unsatisfactory.
In response, Israel's civil service commissioner, responsible for government employees, sent an investigator to Washington over the weekend to gather testimony from embassy workers, said spokesman Aryeh Grinblatt.

It was gossip, Free, from the wife of Dany Ayalon's boss who was retaliating because she had a disagreement with Ann. It was, essentially, lashon hara by the wife of another member of Israel's government who was ticked off with Mrs. Ayalon, and decided that gossip was the best way to hurt her. The investigation showed nothing amiss, and the allegations were dropped. I hate gossip.

Tris this also is fact Danny Ayalon, children are not Jews unless they convert to Judaism
Ann is a christian so are her children
Tris you are as bad as the rest of the replacement christians Print

New scandal haunts Israeli govt

Jerusalem - Israel's latest political scandal involves the foreign minister, the ambassador to Washington, two angry wives - and Madonna.

Underlying the dizzying swirl of accusations is a long-running rivalry between the prime minister's office and the foreign ministry over who controls Israel's relations with the United States.

Traditionally, the prime minister is in charge of the all-important ties and picks the Israeli ambassador to Washington. Successive Israeli foreign ministers have complained they are being sidelined by their prime ministers when it comes to ties with Washington.

The current Israeli foreign minister, Silvan Shalom, reportedly was upset with the Israeli ambassador to Washington, Danny Ayalon, for failing to get him invited to the White House.

Israeli radio stations quoted Ayalon's supporters as saying the White House prefers to deal directly with Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, noting Shalom has only shown lukewarm support for the Gaza withdrawal, seen by the Bush administration as crucial.

At Sunday's cabinet meeting, Sharon admonished his ministers over the infighting, asking them to "tone down their disputes," participants said on condition of anonymity.

Sharon was also apparently referring to a row over corruption allegations between vice premier Ehud Olmert and finance minister Benjamin Netanyahu - both of whom hope to succeed Sharon.

Tensions between the foreign minister and the ambassador erupted over the weekend, with the two camps trading accusations of inappropriate behaviour by Shalom's wife, Judy Nir-Moses, a member of the publishing family of the Yediot Ahronot daily, and the ambassador's wife, Ann Ayalon.

"The Ambassador vs Judy," read the front-page headline Sunday in the Maariv daily. "The Spat," summed up Yediot.

Earlier this month, Yediot reported that Ann Ayalon had verbally abused household staff at her official residence in Washington.

The investigator, Netanel Lavit, has already spoken to former embassy staff in Jerusalem, he said.

The ambassador, meanwhile, accused Shalom's wife of pushing to have his personal assistant Liran Peterzil fired, and wants the attorney general to open an investigation, the justice ministry said. The attorney general, Meni Mazuz, will review a letter by Ayalon on the matter Sunday, the ministry said.

Ayalon claims that Judy Nir-Moses pushed to get the assistant fired after he failed to arrange a meeting for her with Madonna during the pop star's visit to Israel in September.

"At that moment, Judy took out a contract on me. I called her, tried to explain what happened, but she said 'Steve (Silvan) and I will never speak to you again,' and slammed the phone down," Peterzil was quoted as saying in Yediot.

Shalom's wife denied the allegations, telling Israel TV's Channel Two that it is "clear, completely clear" the accusations against her were raised to detract attention from the investigation of Ayalon's wife.

"Liran is charming, charming, just charming. He's cute and charming and I don't have one bad word to say about him," she said. Asked if the assistant should remain in his post, she said: "I don't get involved. It's not me. You know, it's very easy to blame me for everything."

The foreign ministry said Peterzil's position is being cut as part of general cost-cutting. The ministry said the assistant's three-year contract expired last year.

I'm no replacement Christian. That's just more slander. I absolutely hate lies, slander and gossip. That's the only reason that I responded in the first place. You and Sharbano are trying to hijack Israel Insider as a religious, anti-missionary site. Go to Jewish Insider, Ellen's site, for that. That's what that site is for, Don Quixote fighting imaginary enemies. That's not the purpose of this site. Now, I have no further time for this foolish discussion with you. I'm busy, working for America, for Israel, and for the Jewish people. One day you'll thank me. But I'm not holding my breath. Until then, just keep fighting those windmills.
