The problem, is the lack of vision, of self knowledge of himself of the people of Israel, and then of it's governement.
The people have a very complex history that make himself hard to know himslef, and then acting well.

Is the State od Israel, the State of the People of Israel, or the State of the people that live in the land of Israel ?
The conception of the Nation of identity of Israel is based on western standard, but the reality of the people of Israel is not regular, it have it's own, then it's format of identity is not fitted to it's core reality.

Your "Gaza Ghetto" is a prime example of what happens when your own people steal international aid money and refuse to use it to help their own people in order to keep that PR going.

1.) Create charters that clearly state that you do not accept Israel as the Jewish State
2.) When your people insist on murdering Jews every opportunity that they can
3.) When your religion states that you must murder Jews
4.) When you continually attempt to steal Jewish lands

Israel's #1 enemy is what it has always been. Idolitry. This destroys the link with Torah and seperates the Jewish people from Hashem. This will only be fixed when Moshiach comes and reinstitutes Torah law and removes idoitry from the land of Israel.

The Jews have not been enslaving or brutalizing anyone. The mohomadens have tried to destroy the Jews for centuries. The whole of Palastine and much more than that has been given to Israel by Hashem several thousand years ogo. Pretty much the whole of the Arab and Persian people, along with many others, have persecuted the Jewish people. Israel does not and has not taken an offensive action against anyone without just cause. By my opinion Israel has not taken enough action against its attackers.

Thats the worst thing Israel could do. Hashem didn't give the land to Israel and take the Jews as his people to make them like the other idolitors. Israel is supposed to held by Torah law. Unfortunately, it most certainly is. As of today, Bush refused to sell Israel the weaponry required to take out Iran's nuclear facilities. He stated that is "against US interests."

Bush, Rice, the US State Department, and the treacherous Erev Rav- Olmert, Peres, Ramon, Livini and Barak, have been very diligently dividing up HaShem's Sacred Covenant with the Jewish people- our birthright, and handing it over to those who are intent of destroying us, on a silver platter. Most of the American people are not your enemy. When Israel did the unthinkable and decided to kick Jews out of their own homes, businesses and communities in Gaza, most Americans were led to believe you wanted to do that. As it was in the time of Moshe Rabbeinu once again it is the Erev Rav, those from Mitzraim who came with the Jews, so it is today with the Greco-Roman culture that brings their worship of materialism and such, which the current Olympics represent. No matter what it is these days there is Nothing done which glorifies Hashem, i.e., Kiddush Hashem. Insofar as I've been able to tell, and I've been basically studying and researching this stuff - in a personal wanting to stay informed manner - since 1983 and Israel is faced with many of the same problems as are those in most western societies, with America seemingly leading the charge.
I tend to see in America, the enemy is the American people - in that they are all to eager to knee-jerk react to what sounds good in what a politician is saying (which doesn't take any effort at all - because it is all emotion geared and driven) rather than follow up what a politician said with what it is they actually do, which takes a considerable amount of more effort when checking for facts.
Politicians are well aware of this propensity of people by-and-large to have short memory spans, along with a tendency not to go back again later and check what's actually been done - and a good politician will use the propensities/tendencies as a tool - just as car salesmen use - telling constituents what it is they want to hear; and then turn around and do the exact opposite .
I do believe the Federal Government out of Washington DC is not the friend of Israel, anymore than it is the friend of the American people. And just as with the Fed Gov gives aide to support Israel (which I believe to be a good thing) doesn't end there. No, once the Fed Gov gives the aide it likes to go back in once there's a dependency created and starts to tell Israel what to do or not to do as what it figures is best for Israel (which I consider a bad thing) - and the principle is the same whether we're talking about nations, a welfare mom or dad, or a university etc....anyone receiving any kind of aide/subsidy/welfare/tax-exemption etc is subject later to being manipulated and being told what to do or not to do.
So where as the Government in WDC is viable enemy to the American people, Israel, other nations toward nation building via aide monies - the real enemy is the American people who'd rather not know, play stupid, or not rock the boat that might disrupt the flow of aide money, because we keep electing the same charlatans who have become experts at manipulation and selling to emotions...
So who is Israel's number one enemy - I'd lean toward the Israel people for voting the same style of representatives in over and over expecting a different outcome over a long period of time...
